IDR is seeking a Technical Support Engineer - Automations to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Orlando, FL. This role involves providing advanced technical support in a dynamic environment where automation and troubleshooting are key. Position Overview for the Technical Support Engineer - Automations:
- Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel troubleshooting complex electro/mechanical equipment, software, and networked systems.
- Responds to situations where first-line product support has been unable to resolve issues in malfunctioning equipment or software.
- Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to the engineering teams.
- Involves customer installation and training for highly technical or sophisticated products.
- Interacts directly with customers/users who have a technical background, particularly in systems level software.
Requirements for the Technical Support Engineer - Automations:
- Must have JavaScript experience.
- Must have networking and OS debugging experience.
- ServiceNow platform knowledge is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex software and hardware environments.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and team members.
