Position Overview/Responsibilities for the
Systems Administrator:- Install and configure server hardware and software.
- Manage Windows and Linux servers and technology tools.
- Monitor system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
- Troubleshoot issues reported by users or identified through monitoring tools.
- Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Maintain security through access controls, backups, firewalls, etc.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models as necessary.
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and policies.
Required Skills for the
Systems Administrator:- 7+ years’ experience supporting network and logical structures
- 7+ years’ experience with the following: Linux OS, Windows OS, and MS Teams
