PROGRAM MANAGER | REMOTE (EST) The Program Manager leads execution of complex, strategic programs that span a suite of healthcare IT products and client environments. This position coordinates Project Management, Implementation, and client-side executive teams to ensure tight alignment and timely delivery across multiple projects. Acting as a liaison and mediator, this person will guarantee deliverables are executed in sync with implementation plans and ensure client responsibilities are handled professionally and efficiently. This role involves regular interaction with physicians, practice administrators, end users, and subject matter experts to drive program success.
PROGRAM MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES - Serve as the primary communication point for client and internal leadership teams.
- Bridge project/implementation teams with client executive sponsors, driving accountability and transparency.
- Manage cross-functional project programs to ensure all tracks progress according to established milestones and dependencies.
- Lead governance meetings: Executive Sponsorship Reviews, Program Manager & Client Cadence Meetings, Project Management Standups, Internal Leadership Briefings
- Oversee detailed tracking and weekly reporting of KPIs, metrics, and executive summaries.
- Drive project timeline management and change control; escalate and resolve issues impacting execution.
- Continually identify and implement workflow/process improvements across the program lifecycle.
PROGRAM MANAGER REQUIREMENTS - Demonstrated program management or large-scale project leadership experience, preferably in healthcare technology or software environments.
- Extensive stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level partnering.
- Solid understanding of project planning, risk mitigation, change control, and governance best practices.
- Ability to synthesize complex programs into clear milestones and drive tactical execution across teams.
- Experience with healthcare IT platforms (Veradigm, Allscripts) strongly preferred.
- Advanced operational skills in EHR and Practice Management system integration, value creation benchmarking, and digital transformation preferred.
- Proven expertise in orchestrating multi-site deployments, software development life cycle projects, and business intelligence analytics for healthcare clients is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent) is a plus.
