Working for our team, you can truly make a difference.   Sr. Manager, Total Rewards supports the strategy, governance, and delivery of MCC’s benefits, retirement, and wellbeing programs across the Americas region, with additional responsibility for compensation operations and job architecture. This role is the primary regional expert for global benefits, retirement plans (including 401(k)), wellbeing strategy, and regulatory compliance, ensuring MCC’s offerings are competitive, cost‑effective, and aligned with global Total Rewards frameworks. Reporting to the VP, Global Total Rewards, the Sr. Manager plays a critical role in advancing MCC’s global harmonization efforts, strengthening governance, and building scalable processes. Key Responsibilities Benefits & Retirement & Wellbeing (Primary Focus) Support the design, governance, and administration of MCC’s global total rewards strategy focusing on benefits programs, including medical, dental, disability, life, wellness, FSA/HSA, COBRA, and leave programs. Serve as the owner of MCC’s retirement programs, including 401(k), pension/retirement plans and global retirement harmonization initiatives. Partner with brokers, consultants, and vendors to optimize plan design, cost containment, employee experience, and compliance. Lead annual open enrollment strategy, communications, and execution. Support global benefits development and wellbeing frameworks, ensuring regional alignment and scalability. Drive wellbeing strategy, integrating physical, financial, and mental health initiative  Compensation & Job Architecture Manage core compensation processes including salary structures, annual merit cycles, promotions, and off‑cycle adjustments. Conduct job evaluation, market pricing, and benchmarking to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Support participation in salary surveys and analyze market data to guide compensation decisions. Maintain regional job architecture consistency within MCC’s global framework. Financial Stewardship & Analytics Manage the Americas benefits and retirements budgets; monitor spend, trends, utilization, and ROI. Build dashboards and reporting to assess competitiveness, equity, plan performance, and workforce cost trends. Provide data‑driven insights to HR, Finance, and business leaders to support strategic decision‑making.  Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FLSA, GDPR, pay transparency, and retirement plan governance requirements. Oversee audits, nondiscrimination testing, and vendor compliance for benefits and retirement plans. Partner with Legal and HR Operations to mitigate risk and maintain strong governance standards.    Vendor & Partner Management Manage relationships with benefits brokers, retirement plan advisors, consultants, and third‑party vendors. Oversee billing audits, financial reconciliations, and service‑level performance. Ensure vendors deliver high‑quality service and value aligned with MCC’s global standards. Team Leadership & Capability Building Lead and develop members of the Total Rewards team, strengthening technical expertise, analytical capability, and service orientation. Build scalable processes that support MCC’s HR operating model and shared services environment. Enterprise Collaboration Partner with Finance, Legal, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to support M&A integration, organizational design, workforce planning, and global transformation initiatives. Contribute to global projects related to HR modernization, benefits harmonization, and operational excellence. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required. 7–10 years of progressive experience in benefits, retirement plans, and total rewards, with strong expertise in plan governance and compliance. Experience in a global or multi‑country environment strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior leaders and influence cross‑functional stakeholders. Experience managing vendors and brokers; experience with self‑insured plans preferred. Skills & Competencies Deep expertise in benefits strategy, retirement plan governance, wellbeing programs, and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical and financial skills with a data‑driven approach. Solid understanding of compensation principles and job architecture. Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. High integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
