Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Transportation Coordinator in our Austell, GA location. This person verifies product leaving and returning to the warehouse on a daily basis. Records breakage, and documents returned orders. Opens vehicle safes holding currency and checks. Inspects vehicles on a daily basis for damage and cleanliness. Also records mileage and fuel consumption. Pay - $20.50

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

· Visually inspects driver return product to verify that the customer invoice credit/adjustments accurately match the physical product. 

· Assists in any and all warehouse activities where needed. 

· Knowledge of how to operate and work with computerized inventory systems such as – SAP  

· Verifies all physically returned product against all notations on the customer invoices upon driver route returns.  

· Verify inventory returned from store closings. 

· Accurately input adjustments, by respective code, into the SAP System. 

· Directs the driver as to which designated location to place the returns, to insure the accuracy of product put away. 

· Verify and record all short, mislabeled, unsellable, breakage and overage product with the driver to insure proper credit and tracking is accurate. 

· Communicates with the driver supervisor and Day warehouse Supervisor of any concerns, direction and/or process improvement, related to the check in process and driver interaction. 

· Verifies that all manifest pages exist and are in order. 

· Repositions pallets of returns to the returns staging area for put away. 

· Put returns product away as directed by the SAP WM System and/or management. 

· Other duties as assigned by the Day warehouse Supervisor and/or Manager. 

  

Education and/or Experience 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations 

  • Material Handling Certifications for: Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Electric Pallet Jack 

Computer Skills 

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of warehouse software as well as basic Windows functions, i.e. SAP, KEA, Excel, and Word.
