Retail Spirits Sales Representative - Nashville, TN

Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Retail Spirits Sales Representative. Our company offers excellent benefits, competitive wages and the potential for growth opportunities.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

· Sells Spirits to retail package stores for wholesale distributor.     

· Service and maintain current accounts with orders for Empire Spirit Products and customer service.     

· Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.     

· Travels through assigned territory daily to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, sells displays, present items for distribution, and handle damages and off-condition product.     

· Quotes prices and credit terms for orders obtained.     

· Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.     

· Confers with District Manager to resolve customer problems.     

· Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.     

· Identifies and respond to customers' needs.     

· Maintains frequent and open communication with drivers, driver supervisors, district managers, sales managers and the general manager.     

· Prepares and maintains distribution tracking reports, planning and goals, case and dollar tracking and other administrative tasks as assigned.     

· Executes sales plans and maintain accounts according to company standards.     

· Tracks progress of goals on a weekly basis.     

· Participates in supplier work-withs.     

· Continually maintains training and product knowledge.     

· Delivers emergency orders when needed.     

· Attends trade show.     

· Conducts business according to local and state laws.     

  

Education and/or Experience  

Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations  

• Valid Driver License 
• Automobile Insurance - 100/300/50 minimum limits of liability
• Must have the ability to obtain a Tennessee ABC Wholesaler's permit. 

Computer Skills   

Basic computer knowledge and a knowledge of Order Processing System
