IDR is seeking a Field Technician III to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Riverside, CA. This role involves supporting communications technology installations and maintenance in the field, with a focus on quality work and customer service. The company operates within the telecommunications and networking industry, providing critical infrastructure services across diverse client sites.
Position Overview for the Field Technician III:
- Serve as lead onsite; direct, inspect, and audit technicians’ work as needed.
- Assist in training less experienced technicians on scope of work and administrative tasks.
- Train subcontractors and technicians on theory and practices for reliable, quality installations.
- Perform installation and service work at customer sites based on schedule.
- Provide regular updates and deliverables to project teams in a timely manner.
Requirements for the Field Technician III:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years as a Technician II or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency/knowledge across multiple of Telaid’s key accounts.
- Ability to operate network certifiers.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work outside normal hours when required.
