IDR is seeking a Data Business Analyst (IES) to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role supports the modernization of eligibility systems within a government or public sector environment. The position involves analyzing and documenting integrated eligibility processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Position Overview for the Data Business Analyst (IES):
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, eligibility teams, and technical teams
- Analyze and document current and future-state Integrated Eligibility (IE) processes and workflows
- Translate eligibility policy and business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
- Update and maintain system documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specs, and process flows
- Support creation, review, and validation of eligibility notices and correspondence
Requirements for the Data Business Analyst (IES):
- 4–5+ years of experience as a Data Business Analyst, preferably in government or public sector environments
- Hands-on experience with Integrated Eligibility (IE) systems (e.g., Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, or similar programs)
- Strong understanding of eligibility policy, workflows, and case management processes
- Experience translating business requirements into functional and/or technical documentation
- Ability to create and maintain system documentation, including workflows, use cases, and process maps
