IDR is seeking a Compensation Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Auburn, MA. The role involves supporting enterprise-wide compensation projects, particularly focusing on job description development, job evaluations, benchmarking, and system implementation within a large organization. This position offers a dynamic environment where project management skills and compensation expertise are essential.
Position Overview for the Compensation Manager:
- Lead and execute end-to-end activities for the implementation of the job description database, ensuring timelines and stakeholder collaboration.
- Develop and review job descriptions to reflect accurate job content, scope, and organizational alignment.
- Conduct job evaluations and benchmarking using market data to support job leveling and grading.
- Populate and manage the job descriptions within the new system, supporting user adoption and system integrity.
- Develop governance frameworks, process documentation, and workflows to ensure sustainability and effective data management.
Requirements for the Compensation Manager:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Finance.
- At least 5 years of direct compensation experience, including job evaluation and job leveling.
- Proven experience managing core compensation programs such as salary structures and market benchmarking.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience working with HRIS or compensation systems.
- Demonstrated project management ability, including stakeholder communication and task planning.
