Job Summary: CRNA will provides comprehensive anesthesia care, including pre-anesthetic evaluation, intra-operative management, and post-anesthesia follow-up, ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes. Responsible for administering anesthesia and related therapies, managing advanced airway and regional techniques, and utilizing specialized equipment, medications, and monitoring systems throughout the perioperative process. This role is onsite at Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Graduate of a program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA)
- Permanent, full, and unrestricted RN license and CRNA license
- Valid license to practice in any U.S. state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory
- Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) or the National Board for Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Must maintain current certifications in:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- L&D CRNAs Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation.
- Intra-operative Care.
- Obtain, prepare and use all equipment, monitors, supplies and drugs used for the administration of sedation or anesthesia (general and/or regional techniques).
- Select, obtain, order and administer the anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, accessory drugs, fluids and blood products necessary to manage the anesthetic.
- Performing all aspects of airway management, including fiber-optic intubation
- Perform and manage central neuraxial anesthetic techniques to include but not limited to subarachnoid, epidural and caudal blocks.
- Shall have the ability to be trained to perform and manage peripheral regional anesthetic techniques to include but not limited to upper and lower extremity plexus blocks and/or individual nerve blocks, intravenous regional, airway blocks, and other regional techniques as indicated.
- Provide post-anesthesia follow-up and evaluation of the patient's response to anesthesia and surgical experience, taking appropriate corrective action and request consultation when indicated.
- Initiate and administer respiratory support to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation
- Conduct post-anesthesia follow-up and evaluation.
Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience, in the delivery of general and regional anesthesia for all ages and types of procedures, including but not limited to major vascular, neuro surgical and thoracic procedures.

Work Schedule: Sunday - Saturday; 7 days per week including weekends and holidays. Total work hours are 40 hour/per week.
Shifts could be one of the following:
- Monday - Friday: 0700 - 1500
- Monday - Friday: 0700 - 1700
- Monday - Friday: 0700 - 1900
- Monday - Sunday: 0700 - 0700
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods, maintain physical stamina during long procedures, and safely assist with patient positioning and equipment handling (often 100-300+ lbs with help). Requires strong manual dexterity, visual and auditory acuity, and the ability to remain alert and responsive in high-pressure clinical environments.
