IDR is seeking a Systems Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in College Station, Texas. This role involves supporting and maintaining automated system processes within an organization focused on enterprise operations and technology optimization. The company operates in the IT and systems management industry, emphasizing system reliability and automation efficiency.
Position Overview for the Systems Administrator:
- Support and monitor daily automated system processes to ensure smooth operations
- Create, schedule, and maintain automated tasks using job scheduling tools
- Troubleshoot job failures or system issues to minimize downtime
- Write and maintain SQL queries and PowerShell scripts to support automation and reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve system performance and operational workflows
Requirements for the Systems Administrator:
- 3+ years of experience in IT with systems administration
- 2+ years of experience supporting production control or job scheduling using tools like Control-M or similar (Automation Engine, UC4, AppWorx)
- 2+ years of strong scripting experience with PowerShell and SQL or T-SQL
Nice to Have:- Familiarity with Git/GitHub
